Continuing the 30th anniversary celebrations of the legendary running silhouette, the Nike Air Max 90 is now introduced in an updated Laser Blue colourway for August 2020.
The Nike Air Max 90 is An original Tinker Hatfield design that was first released 30 years ago back in 1999 in the iconic ‘infrared’ colourway. Capturing the change of trainer trends during the early 90s, the Air Max 90 took trainer technology to new levels, closely following the AM1 from 1987 and the Air Max Light from 1989. The Nike Air Max 90, or Air Max 3 as it is sometimes called, featured an updated ribbed plastic moulding around the visible Air window as well as the addition of ribbed plastic panelling to the heel tab, eyelets and side walls. The eye-catching & contrasting infrared detailing really put this trainer on the sneaker map & has since become a subcultural sneaker icon from Grime to Gabber. This latest Air Max 90 trainer release from Nike captures all the early 90s Tinker Hatfield heritage.
Continuing the 30th anniversary celebrations, Nike have now introduced the Air Max in true OG form in an updated Laser Blue colourway. Featuring synthetic leather & mesh uppers, the OG runner features the signature ribbed TPU panelling to the Air Max sole unit, heel tab & sidewalls now in Laser Blue. The 90s classic runner is finished off with Air Max branding to the tongue tab & the rear as well as the addition of ‘grey fog’ swooshes to the sides.
