Following the re-release of the original ‘Kiss of Death’ trainer from 2006, we can reveal Clot’s latest Air Max 1 collaboration with the ‘Kiss of Death Cha’ trainer for 2021.
It’s already been a massive year for the OG Air Max fans. Following the re-release of the Clot x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ trainer from 2006, we are now treated to an updated iteration of the sought after noughties style. The ‘Kiss of Death Cha’ has now been officially unveiled via Clot’s social channels and it’s sure to get Air Max fans talking!
The original ‘Kiss of Death’ trainer from 2006 marked one of the very first collaborations between the Hong Kong sneaker store and the Swoosh brand. The design was truly unique as far as AM90’s go, and has become one of the most sought after Air Max styles of all time over the last 15 years.
The celebrated Clot collaboration is now treated to a colourway update for 2021. Drawing inspiration from Chinese tea and all its associated crockery, the uppers feature various brown tones & also feature a transparent plastic toe box with an overall ‘East meets West’ kind of vibe. The translucent outsole also features the signature Chinese reflexology graphics which featured on the original ‘Kiss of Death’ design from 2006.
The ‘Kiss of Death Cha’ trainer will be launching from the AMT store over the coming months from a range of retailers we work with. You can also subscribe to Air Max Tings & follow @airmaxtings to keep up to date with all the latest Air Max news, releases & drops.
